Experiment: The metal rod carries longitudinal oscillations in rubbing it with cloth. Gas column makes its own variations as a result of resonance by the sound radiation from the disk at the end of the rod. Determine the speed of sound in the gas and the vibration exciter by measuring the wavelength.
