Phase and group velocity of ultrasound in liquid. 1.5.11-00

Get the concept of:
longitudinal waves, the velocity of sound in liquids, wavelength, frequency, the piezoelectric effect

Experiment:
A sound wave from the ultrasonic generator caught a piezoelectric ultrasonic unit. Determine the wavelength and phase velocity is calculated from a given phase of the signals. Based on these measurements the delay time of a sound pulse is determined by the group velocity.
